Little Moon Design
The company
Jolene is a work at home, crunchy mom! She started making diapers originally to save money, but so many people told her they are so adorable and She should sell them. So that's what She did!! Jolene likes to ride horses, sew, and save animals!
The diaper
The diaper that Little Moon Designs sent me to review is her OS Pocket diaper. It has a cotton outer a hidden layer of PUL, and a Sudecloth inner. The soaker is made a layer of zorb, sandwiched between two layers of bamboo.
The diaper closes using snap closures and has three rise snaps for a custom extra small, small, medium, and large fit.
Fit and Size
The diaper fit my 25 pound 36 inch tall chunky toddler best on the highest rise setting. It fit very well around the legs and we didn’t have any gaps anywhere. Overall the diaper fits great.
Thickness/Bulkiness
The diaper itself is not thick but the insert isn't very thick or thin it's about med. I really like that her diapers aren't bulky at all. it is so hard to find a slim diaper that fits over his clothes.
Aesthetic Design
I like the cuteness of the diaper. Jolene does a great job picking awesome fabrics for all of her diapers, even this one I loved it. I love the snaps match the diaper.
Sewing Quality
For the most part the sewing quality looks pretty good – the stitching looks nice and it has held up over multiple washings. The only issue we have had is that the stitching on the insert is coming apart on one edge. I don’t have a problem fixing things like this since I know how to sew. Other then that the quality of this diaper is great.
Price
The average retail value for Little Moon Designs One Size Pocket Diaper is $17.50. I think this is a great price for this WAHM cloth diaper.
Overall
I think this is a great diaper, Jolene is a wonderful person and is really great. I'd really love to test another one of her diapers in the future. I really have no complaints. I love the design and the fit.
